Symetrica Soars to New Heights!

A resounding congratulations to Dr. Grant Crossingham, co-founder of Symetrica, for his remarkable achievements in the world of hang gliding. Dr. Crossingham recently clinched victories at the prestigious French Open and National Hang Gliding Championships, as well as the British National Championship, both of which took place this month in the stunning French Alps.

Each of these challenging competitions spanned a week, with pilots covering several hundred kilometers to secure their positions. Dr. Crossingham, piloting the Symetrica glider, emerged victorious, taking first place overall. Notably, French champion Laurent Thevenot finished eighth overall. Just a week later, the Symetrica glider claimed another triumph at the British Championship.

With this latest win, Dr. Crossingham has now matched the record for the most British Championships won—an impressive nine titles. Even more remarkably, he has secured the championship an unprecedented six consecutive times!

Reflecting on his achievement, Dr. Crossingham said, “I’m thrilled to have won these championships, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible hard work and support from my team and Symetrica. A massive thank you to everyone involved!”
