Symetrica are proud to announce the successful completion of a €200,000 project to provide The European Nuclear Security Training Centre (EUSECTRA) at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Germany with a modular autonomous ground robot with detection capabilities!
This specifically designed robot, created during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be able to survey hazardous environments for the presence of radionuclides and explosives using fully integrated detectors. The robot is able to operate fully autonomously and houses a robotic arm to hold the VeriFinder with a 1.1 meter reach.
