Symetrica to exhibit at the Counter Threat Symposium 2021

The inaugural Counter Threat Symposium will take place between 8–10 November 2021 at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Symetrica is proud to be exhibiting two new CBRN products in the UK for the first time at the event and will be located at Table 33.


The event is a joint initiative between the CBRN-UK and Counter-EO Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of ADS Group and will build upon the CBRN-UK Symposium’s successful format. ADS is the trade association for the U.K’.s aerospace, defence, security, and space industries— sectors which generate £30bn in value to the U.K.

This event, which will also host the MOD Industry Day, will bring together the humanitarian sector, end-users, policymakers, and U.K. and overseas suppliers to discuss the latest developments and requirements in CBRN and Counter-EO.

Event format

Day one: Focus on Counter-EO issues, requirements, and trends, with speakers from across the Counter-EO community.

Day two: The MOD Industry day is designed to bring the audience up to speed on the current threat, extant and future equipment programmes, and opportunities for U.K. industry.

Day three: Analysis of domestic and international CBRN threat, response, capability, and addressing some of the key challenges such as post-mortem of contaminated victims.

There will be a sponsored networking event on the first evening and numerous breakout opportunities throughout the event designed to foster cross-department discussion.

CBRN-UK is the national supplier organisation representing U.K. industry’s CBRN capability to government, emergency responders, the military, and Critical National Infrastructure operators. When customers need advice and knowledge on everything related to CBRN, they can seek impartial advice from CBRN-UK.

The organisation was formed in 1994 as NBC-UK to ensure the UK CBRN industry was properly represented on the international stage and to ensure the availability of complete and coordinated information to address strong overseas competition. It changed its name to CBRN- UK in 2010.
